Is it important for a website to look good on mobile?

Did you know over 60% of internet searches take place on mobile?


That means 60% of your customers aren’t using a laptop or desktop computer to look at your website.


Yes, that’s well over half.


A lot of business owners fall into the trap of making sure that their website looks good on desktop, because that’s where they build their website, and very often neglect mobile, or only treat it as an afterthought.


And this contributes to a perception that a business is not as credible. It can really harm a business’s repuation.


And this is such a shame, because we all know how hard we’ve worked on our businesses, right?


Google also ranks sites differently on mobile vs on desktop. So you might do really well on desktop, but if your mobile site renders slowly or is hard to use, your site might appear much further down the search rankings on mobile.


Which means you’re missing out on so much business!


This is why, whenever we’re starting an SEO project with a new client, one of the first steps we’ll take is a review of how their site appears and performs on mobile.


And we fix aaaaaaallll the problems we find on mobile.


So that, very soon, their mobile site performs just as well as their desktop site in search.


So don’t forget the mobile version of your website – here’s your reminder to go take a look at it, and make sure it’s easy to use, and that it’s super easy to contact you or buy your services on mobile.


If it isn’t, it’s time to take action, because there’s 60% more traffic potentially available to your business if you do.
