My name's Claire (yes, that's me on the right), and I'm the Creator of Aloha Life Digital.

I'm an award-winning British entrepreneur, living in the USA. I've built multiple businesses from scratch, raised VC capital, prepared marketing campaigns that have generated millions in revenue, and delivered unique and innovative products to thousands of happy customers.

Aloha Life Digital is the culmination of twenty years' worth of working online with digital publishing, eCommerce, Marketing and SEO, in a variety of guises, both for prestigious globally-recognized companies and for fast-moving startups, as well as with many of the world's biggest tech companies. I am delighted to now have the opportunity to package up everything I have learned from these experiences and use it to springboard amazing businesses like yours to the next level.

A bit more 'about'

What companies have you worked with in the past?

My entrepreneurial journey started ten years ago and rocket-shipped six years ago when I quit my safe and respectable job, and started an eCommerce subscription company of my own.

The wild entrepreneurial ride that ensued involved me relocating from the UK, to Germany, and then on to the USA, where I am now based just outside Boston, Massachusetts.

For the past 6 years, I built a VC-backed eCommerce subscription business selling plants. The company was called Lazy Flora, and we sold plants both on subscription and through an online store. Lazy Flora was sold in June 2022.

Prior to that, I worked in eCommerce strategy for Penguin Random House, and assisted them with selecting Shopify as their platform of choice for launching their first ever D2C offering. I then oversaw the work that went into launching that website.

Much earlier in my career, I worked with the Oxford Dictionaries team on improving the performance of their main dictionaries website, which was (and probably still is) one of the most heavily trafficked sites in the UK. I met regularly with the Google SEO team as they trained me and my team on how to work with the Google algorithm to improve our (already massive) organic search performance.

What has 'aloha' got to do with it? Are you from Hawaii?

I'm not from Hawaii. I'm a Brit who has relocated to the USA. I visited Hawaii on my honeymoon a few years back, and fell in love with the concept of 'aloha', and now try to apply it to everything I do in life. You can read more about the name 'Aloha Life' and the meaning of 'aloha' here.

How do you work with clients?

I have a four-step process for working with clients. Here's an outline of what you can expect when you work with me:

Understanding your brand.
Clarifying your message.
Building wireframes and generating copy.
Creating and publishing a marketing funnel.

I will come into your business, tell you what you need to do to improve it, then either get out of your way so you and your team can make those changes, or make them for you myself, if that's what you want me to do.

What do you stand for?

My personal values are kindness, empathy, quality, and adventure. I apply these to everything I do in life.
